Hökensås
gets its name from the 100 kilometre
long ridge which is bordered in the east by lake
Vättern
and the small picturesque town of Hjo. The ridge
rises
to over 300 metres (980 feet) a feture that
contributes
to its undulating topography of eskers covered with
Scots Pine trees.
The beautiful
countryside of the Hökensås area
is the basis for many of the activities on offer,
which
together with a wide range of accommodation and
restaurants provide all the conditions for a
successful
holiday or conference. So it is simply to choose, small
picturesque town on the shore of lake Vättern, or
exhilirating experiences in beautiful surrounding;
or
why not both?
